Looking Back....Another Wedding

Second grandchild (brother to granddaugher that got marrried) got engaged in April of 2021. They planned their wedding for Thanksgiving weekend in October. (At the time their were no mandates or restrictions because of Covid)

Well shortly before the date the mandates and restrictions all came down.... so that dissolved the church wedding and inside reception unless she only had 50 guests.

Makayla was determined not to cancel any invitation she had sent our...and found an outside venue... (outside gatherings were allowed up to 200 people)

It was a beautiful spot on the outskirts of the city with views of the mountain. The day was sunny (but you could feel the breeze off the mountains)

She had chosen beautiful fall colours

The reception and dance were all outside....
with firepits going at the end of the day....
It was a beautiful wedding

Two grandchildren married off...
and one daughter and son in law who became empty nesters!

I do miss the Prairie sunset and sunrise....but do enjoy mornings like this!

National Puppy Day

Miss Pepper…..she changed our life… But life wouldn’t be as full without her! She is a kind sweet puppy that always ‘try’s😳’ to please.
