Sunflowers...

This spring I planted some dwarf sunflowers to border my garden...

I planted some taller ones...that have been slow coming...they were call Munchiks...

 These 'Munckins' are just starting to bloom...

then I got these guys growing...

I have NO idea where they came from??

I love that I can grow Sunflowers... in Alberta I could not grow them...maybe our nights were too cold or our summer to short... all I know they never grew!

 I've enjoyed them outside and in the house!!

 I thought I would try drying them for the fall...

They are in a dark place...drying... I looked today ...I have a feeling ...it isn't going to work for me...so I'll have to see how long they last in the garden....so far I still have an abundance of them!
