Studio Day

It is rare that I have a full day doing fun things...today was a day I got to spend in my studio!

 I was sewing....but decided to watch some lessons on a Beginners Watercolour online course I started a year ago...I like to watch the video once before I start painting.. 

I find it very hard to stay on one task for very long

It was good just to have a studio day!

We had an Addition to Our Family....

In 2017... for some reason I had this urge....I'm not a dog lover....but for 6 months I searched for the perfect dog....

Then I found her.... 

Miss Pepper

She was 10 weeks old when we got her....

She was an easy dog to train...although there were moments we wondered what we had done..

I was determined to do all the things we did with out a dog...and she complied...

 

When she was 7 months old she traveled south with with us...

She was the best ...she never asked once if we were there yet! 😅

She hiked the parks of Utah.... ran the beaches in Arizona and the deserts of California!

Pepper adores all the grands...she even loves watching movies with them.

Well we are smitten with her...she keeps us active... entertained. Any doubts I had about having a dog...well lets say we can't imagine life without her.

 Beautiful snow day today...we went for a walk...it was snowing huge flakes... I couldn't get the video to work.... but here are a few pictures...

Sourdough

 Well I have been into making sourdough for almost 2 years!... She is a wonderful taskmaker:) 

You do know you name them...

Well most times.

From Pancakes to Brownie, to Pizza Dough to Cinnamon Buns...

Cheese or Seed or Herb Crackers to Chocolate Chip cookes...that sourdough has kept me on my toes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yesterday after baking I put the girl in the fridge... at times you just need to get away from her for awhile......

It's Been Awhile....

Well a lot has happened in the last almost 4 years that I did my last post... 

 I've decided that I need to change the name of my blog since....

For now...We've had beautiful snow falls this winter...

 It has come and gone...but this weekend...

It looks like we'll have a white Christmas...
