Things that make me smile....

Which Grandson....would THINK of taking a picture like this??

Murals in My Town

Early this morning I was running around the downtown streets and alley's...I never knew My Town had so many murals. The murals were painted by a local artist. They depict daily life in Our Town in the 1890-1910's. Hope you enjoy them.

The first 2 are a couple garbage cans that have been painted.

The above 3 murals are in a back alley. These are my favourites.

Lady in Waiting

One of my grandchildren discovered this nest.

It wasn't where we normally find Robin's nests.

I would of missed it...between the shop and sheds..

Mom and I had quite the chat...

 So you discovered me...

 Well are you just going to stare...

Well I gotta get on that nest...

 At least I don't have tree branches to fly thru...

 I have to sit just right...

 There we go....

Skills Canada Alberta Competition

While in Edmonton I attended the Provincial Skills Competition. It is where High School and Post Secondary Students compete in their various skill areas. This competition hosted the best students from across the Province in each of the competitions.
It just amazes me at all the Career Pathways available to students. Here are a few of them....
