Another week gone by...Joining Nancy at

1.  The weather has been up and down.... rainy, windy, sunny....The south part of our province has had an abundance of rain and the rivers are overflowing!!

2. I have t-shirts that get holes in the front of them.... for no reason? I would like to know what causes this??

3, Had my eyes checked this week... I know eye health is VERY important...but sometimes I think when the prescription changes just a little...it's a money racket to get new glasses if your old ones are working fine.

4. It has been 9 months since I have ran...started running again and it feels so good to be at it again!

5.Today is the longest day this year...The sun rose this morning at 5:04 AM...will set at 10:07 PM...tomorrow it won't rise until 5:05 AM...the days will start getting shorter....So I'm going to enjoy TODAY!

Weekend News...

On Friday Evening Hubby and I took a drive ...east of Edmonton to a little Hamlet....
called Bruce...

 Well they have or had a Grocery Store...

There is a hotel.......

 The inside was promising...

 From the look of the town...all these people must of drivin here...

They have a small menu...but delicious food...and lots of it!!
It was a great way to spend a Friday evening...

1. It's been eleven days... since I have sat down at my computer...when life get hectic...the computer gets dusty...

2. I have been busy and feeling exhausted ..posting ideas leave me....and it is hard to get back into it! At times like this I wonder...why I really have a blog... do you feel like that...and what do you do to get it going again?

3. It was was Grandson Two birthday last week. Fifteen years old!!

4. I keep forgetting to take pictures.. BUT.... my granddaughter took my camera and took some GREAT pictures..... I will be posting some that she took...here is a peak  preview...

5. Yesterday my girlfriend and I took our granddaughters to the zoo... It was about 33 years ago the first time I went to this zoo.... with this girlfriend. We had our little boys the fathers of these girls!!
Yesterday was a  wonderful day and I just love this friend...who is such a wonderful friend after all these years...

Farm Chick Show

Well the day arrived...the reason for Our Road Trip....

The Farm Chick Antique Show ...we waited in the rain for it to open!!!
We chose Sunday to go as they say that Saturday is VERY busy
(7,000 people attended on Saturday)!

Well the wait in the rain was worth it!! It was so much fun!!
There was so much to see. We arrived before it opened...
It opened at 9:00 am....we left at 3:15pm...and only sat for about 15 mins to have a quick drink and rest our feet!

At times... the crowds were overwhelming...

I loaded the trunk...had plenty of room....we could of bought more...

We waited patiently for Middler to finish her browsing...

It was very entertaining watching the shoppers leave at the end of the day!!

We ended the day with a great supper and YES more shopping at a few stores....
Well I better end...need some rest before we hit the road...
It will be an early morning...and a late night to make it home!

Tacky Tourists....

We started our morning slow ........with breakfast and reading on the outside deck!

The we headed out to explore the Downtown area of Spokane.
I had taken my good camera...and forgot my battery charger...and so I had to use my phone camera... It's just the way it is with me and picture taking.

We walked around in Riverfront Park...

A Beautiful area downtown...you have the river, the falls, amusements...
First born saw...what has to be the Biggest Red Wagon...

After play time we explored more of the park.
The park was the location of the 1974 World Expo...
We found Canada Island

Rows of Maple Trees...

We had lunch/supper at Anthony's.... on the River...

 Delicious Seafood!....The BEST sourdough bread!!

Tomorrow..we are heading to.....
