It seems that every week...the rains come
But when the sun comes out and I can check out my flowers beds...
This is what is happening in them...
The last of the tulips are in their final days.
The perennials have filled out the flower beds...some are starting to bloom.
The honeysuckle bushes are in their prime
Along with the Iris...
and the Columbine...
Now if the rain stays away...we could be outside and enjoy the blooms...
i love those dark wine colored tulips! your 'spring' arrives so much later, it nice to see all these blooms now that we're drying up and crispy brown.
ReplyDeleteIris are by far my favorite spring flower. I wish they didn't wilt so quickly.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretties! Where are you that your spring is so late?
ReplyDeleteOur spring can in March...although the last couple of years it has been later. For some reason my flower beds where very late this year...I lost a lot of the tulips...and the ones that did come up where late!!

The flowers are all gorgeous!! The colors are beautiful. I am with Jill in wondering where you are too as the tulips have been long gone here.
ReplyDeleteThe first one was an unusual shade of crimson. Sandie
