Alberta Wheat Pool Elevator....most of Alberta's have been torn down...
So nice to see one still standing in British Columbia!!
Miss Pepper…..she changed our life… But life wouldn’t be as full without her! She is a kind sweet puppy that always ‘try’s😳’ to please.
These elevatores could almost pass as a tall house - or even a lighthouse. Lovely perspective of them fringed with a delightful sky.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting set of buildings set off with that lovely blue sky.
ReplyDeleteI love old elevators and wish I had photographed more of them in this area before they disappeared.
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought it was a house. Oh wow!
ReplyDeleteNice shaped tall structures...
ReplyDeleteNice image - I think its important that at least some of these types of buildings are retained in the landscape.

beautiful photo, my family had friends in Creston we'd visit when I was young-oh I do hope BC is smart enough to preserve these...
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed great to see some old buildings still standing, telling their stories.
ReplyDeleteI love the old grain elevators and am sad to see them being replaced by the big concrete structures. A little bit of the Prairies slowly disappearing.
ReplyDeleteDumb question but is that like a silo?
ReplyDeleteNice shot, they are disappearing one at a time it seems. We had one burn down here in Tulsa last year.
