The top is done...and will be quilted when I return home.
The cape I was doing...was almost done...but I wasn't happy with it...so I pulled it apart and found an actual pattern...

the quilt looks awesome - sooooo much work but it is so worth it. something that will be treasured for many lifetimes!!

i start knitting now for next christmas, it's a great time to start. you stitch an ornament each year for the grands?? if i remember correctly. another treasure they will have for a long time!!
