I don't think Hubby and I can really be called snowbirds yet....as we leave the snow ...but always go back to it. Someday we will be able to spend the whole winter down here.
This the was first year that we had to open a place up, after a hot summer. When we left in the spring...we did all the things seasoned 'snowbirds' told us to do...and when we arrived everything was in good order. The only problem we had was Hubby forgot the combination to the shed ...so we had to saw the lock off.
Life down here slows down..
and it feels like we can actually live...
the internet connection in the park, is not the best..
so I don't have a lot of computer time...
Being here gives one time to reflect.....
On where our life has been and where should it go...
We get to sit in our back patio and watch the hummingbirds feed...
listen to their songs
We have been blessed abundantly...
Well Hubby bought a little pocket camera...
It takes pretty good pictures......
Well I have to run... so I can sit and
do what we do best down here...
Not much:)
Enjoy your time, I can't wait for January, unless something comes up and we can't go :(
ReplyDeleteJust getting away for a bit helps.
That sounds just awesome to me! Your pansies are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your photos are from now! They make me feel warm and happy. It is cold here - even in GA! In the 60's. Enjoy your time. Love, sandie
ReplyDeleteFrom your posts on last year's adventures, I know that you will not be idle. ;oD
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the warmth and the sunshine.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back to good ole USA...
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are enjoying some peace and quiet. And it must be warm too, judging by the flowers and the hummingbird feeders. Have fun!
