I had never heard of CRUFFINS...have you?
I found this Sourdough Recipe and have been wanting to try it. January weather seemed like the perfect time...
They are a mix between a croissant and a muffin...
You don't slice these in rounds...but lengthwise...then fold them in half in the muffin tin.
At this folding point... I looked at the recipe it said it made 8... I thought all this work for 8????
So a few of them I cut in half to fill the muffin tray.
They turned out good...and cutting them in half was a perfect size !!
I wasn't crazy about them....but hubby ate 6 fresh out of the oven.

ReplyDeleteoh, wow. i am searching for recipes now. i am not familiar with this term. neat-O! i'll have to get those items to try and then i will be in "the know" and feel so curious. they look delicious. i do gosh, i have posts for now until June of this year. and that is it. i try to go in every once in a while, and update things, will what has been more recently going on. i think the last time we were out was in Oct/Nov of 2021. and we stay to ourselves. it works when you have your own camper. i never share what is truly happening at that moment. never safe to do that. you don't want a stranger knowing your business, might sound harsh but you have to protect yourself. thank you kindly for your visit. hope your 2022 is going well so far. take care.
