Quilt.... final step...

I had a pattern for my quilt...and was worried about the border.
I had made the quilt one row bigger so I was not sure if I could get the border to fit properly...but it worked out fine..
One last thing to do...is the quilting...
I am going to hand quilt it and went with a hoop instead of a quilting frame...
then I can quilt when and where ever!
It's been taking me about an hour a square to quilt... won't take to long..................

  2. This quilt is looking amazing! Most people make quilting sound so HARD!!! You make it sound simple....which it CAN'T be! Beautiful! Just beautiful!! Are you keeping this or making it as a gift? I hope you keep it and look at it and remember how accomplished you are!!!

  3. That is beautiful Bev!!!! I'm starting a quilt from the first book I read last week, The Quilters Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini. I think you would love reading these books if you haven't already. I'm not using my machine to make it I'm going to hand piece all the blocks and I plan to hand quilt the whole thing. I don't have a quilt frame so I'll have to use a hoop.
