  1. Bev -- being real here -- I think people that have lots of life going on -- don't need a blog.

It's us peeps that are somewhat introverted and lacking in the social department -- require a blog to share with the outside world.

You have a fulfilling life -- if the blog is not needed, then dump it. It's a time suck for you -- but I would miss you. xo

  2. Agree with Nancy. Introverted weirdos like she and I need blogs... LOL... Sorry, Nancy, but we are. Oh, and the CIA needs our daily posts to keep them busy.

    Great photos today, Bev!

  3. A friendship of 33 years with granddaughters who are now friends is surely a treasure and an accomplishment! Like Nancy, I'm an introvert, but I've always kept a journal. Now, I use the blog to write and connect. There's ALWAYS something to write about!

  4. Wonderful to relive the zoo with the second generation!

One of the things that sometimes helps when I am having a dry spell is to find a meme and participate in it. This way it gives you a theme to work with and this way you can post one a week or month or whenever the meme(s) are.

  6. Glad you had a beautiful day with a wonderful friend AND your grandchildren! :)

And what Nancy and Diane said above. I too am an introvert. I get a lot of 'stuff' out through writing. Thogh the CIA must be bored to tears with my posts! Lol

  7. For me, blogging is a perfect way for my family and friends back home to stay current this doesn't replace emails and phone calls but covers a lot and I enjoy the process of sharing with them in this fashion.

  8. How awesome is that about the zoo and your friend. I totally get you on the blogging part. I do post, but I don't seem to get over and visit others like I used to.

  9. Life tends to get busy and the blog does go by the wayside. I slow down and then get back into the swing. I love the zoo and isn't amazing how quickly kids -- and their kids -- grow up!!!!! Nice 5. Have a lovely weekend.

  11. That last picture is precious. I never seem to run out of things to blog about, which is sort of weird, since I never do anything special. That's an interesting thought, which could become a whole blog post!

  13. I spend about an hour to an hour and a half on Sunday afternoon writing and preparing the blog posts for the next five days and then schedule them to publish. That done, I can enjoy the week ahead and read other blogs.

My blog is a mixture of memories from the past and present as well as a record of my craft projects. As long as it is still fun and people continue to visit and comment, I will continue to post.
