Border Crossings....

Here in Yuma, Mexico is just a short jaunt away...

By the Sand Dunes we pass the Floating Border Fence....
It floats as the sand shifts....

Every once in awhile...we take a trip to Los Algodones...and cross the border for a visit.

The place is fill with Seniors....getting Dental Work,  Eyeglasses and...browsing...
We found the prices are not really a bargain....
I find that any joy I could have of shopping...
there is always someone asking me to have a look....
cheap...cheaper in the morning..... almost free
I'm not the bargaining type...

It takes all my enjoyment of crossing the border away...

And I always find.... the washroom very amusing!

  3. I'm at the moment reading Barbara Kingolver's 'the lacuna' our protagonist spends time in Mexico and has a Mexican Mother...I'm like you I am not fond of bargaining...a floating boarder fence is amazing.
