Square Foot Gardening Update...

The garden has been in just about a month. Our weather has been cool, rainy with the odd day of heat and sun....

So I'll start with the bad news... A few plants have frost damage...
My beans....and my cucumbers.... I'm hoping they will come back!!
All the other squares are coming along quite nicely...

The flowers were bedding out plants... I can't take credit for them...
the only seeds that did not come up....was the lettuce seeds from YUMA....but I'm sure they don't know what to do with our weather up here!!
We added gravel 'paths' between our boxes...
I planted the empty squares for later harvest...since you use very few seeds for this garden...the seeds are put away in the fridge for next year.
We tried a radish.... in about one more week I think they will be the perfect size....

Well that is about it for our garden update...

  1. Your square foot gardens are coming along, too bad about the bit of frost damage. I've got pea pods forming and little tiny green tomatoes ... looking forward to some good snacking :)

  3. Looking good!

Weatherman predicted frost here last night, but plants survived. It's been really cool the past week (high of 60F) during the day.
