Well it has been MANY years since I have worked on a patchwork quilt. Thirty five years ago I took a quilting course. I did a of couple quilts ...even hand quilted them.
Then quilting really came in...and everyone seemed to be quilting and I lost my desire to buy cloth ...just to cut it up into pieces and sew it back together...
well....never say never cause here I am....cutting up fabric to make a quilt.
I have the easy blocks completed...Now I'm started on what looks to me like difficult blocks...
I'll keep you posted as this project progresses....

Oh Bev, I can't wait to see it all done.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Bev, but be careful, you may get addicted like the rest of us!
ReplyDeleteOh BEV
ReplyDeleteSew great things. I admire you!
Yours :)

I can't WAIT to see it - I am thinking of making one myself! lol
ReplyDeletecutting it apart just to sew it back together again. perfect description that defies logic. :)
ReplyDeleteThe quilt project will keep you busy for quite awhile. Good luck with it. I've been without internet here in AZ but it seems to have resurrected itself this morning so I've been playing catch up. I love your shirt-to-apron aprons. I think that's something I could do too. Happy sewing.
ReplyDeleteOh the joy of quilting, I love it and it's been a while since I've made one as well. I'm looking forward to following your project and seeing what you're up to!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
love quilts.....can't wait to see finished product...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how you get on with your new quilt. That should keep you busy for a while.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it.
Thanks so much for your good wishes on the birth of our grandson, it is very much appreciated. :)
I love quilts too, but don't have the patience to learn how to make one. I am looking forward to the finished product. And if you do go to New Mexico, get off the beaten path, check out Route 66, drive up in those mountains I mentioned.
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteI'm eager to see this project progress.
