Friendship

Christmas is the perfect time to get together with friends.
Years ago I received this book...from a friend!
I invited my friends for Tea...in Celebration of our Friendship!
I enjoy readying the rooms...

We all had a wonderful time eating, drinking tea and visiting....
Why is it....we don't do this more often?
Do you find you do more entertaining at
Christmas than any other time of the year?

  1. What a wonderful idea.

Yes, it is odd that these activities are more common at Christmas, but aren't you glad that they are?

  2. I only wish I could have made it for tea, life's way too hectic right now. Can I take a rain-check? It all looks so wonderful, so magical and enchanting. I find that I don't do much more entertaining, maybe this year I might so I get to see all of my friends before I head out to Australia if it's all a go ahead, but I LOVE company! Enjoy your day.

  3. It looks like a lovely tea party. What a nice idea. There's just something about this time of year that makes us want to connect with family and friends in special ways.

  6. I enjoy Emilie Barnes' books (my mom has sent me at least two & she has a few). Your pictures bring the book you've got to life -- I like how you've 'told' the story. (My favorite is "If Teacups Could Talk.")

  7. What a lovely tea set-up!

I have always had friends, the rest of my family, over at Christmastime, but during the rest of the year, it's usually a get together out.
