We love biking to Old Town Yuma.
To some it may seem like a dying spot...
But if you dig deep...
you can find a treasure chest of:
unique stores
antique stores
cool eating places
artists...
the list goes one!
Miss Pepper…..she changed our life… But life wouldn’t be as full without her! She is a kind sweet puppy that always ‘try’s😳’ to please.
I am sure there are lots of places to visit! Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing places like this, and you're right if you look hard enough you will find some pretty neat things.
ReplyDeletelove the 3rd shot. so much character in that entryway.
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern of the scroll work on the entry gate and what a lovely reflection in the third shot!
ReplyDeleteI would rather see old storefronts in need of a little paint than shiny new glass storefronts. :)
I'm with TexWisGirl - my favorite is the third shot too!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to visit, I love old buildings.
ReplyDeletewow, such a pretty view. a great fence to be looking through. no matter which side you are on. (:
ReplyDeletemy husband worked there one winter, rv business for the snowbirds...i don't remember the downtown...how did i miss this?! but we did enjoy touring the old jail, creepy!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely lots of those 'birds' down here:)... I enjoyed the jail...oh my you missed a lot by missing downtown...great restaurants...entertainment.... shops.... parks.... biking trails along the canal...we bike there from 32 street!
DeleteI like old towns that still have much of the old still around. Great shots. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of an antiquey-looking town!
ReplyDeleteoh...sounds like my kind of place!!!
ReplyDeleteYou would love it... It is a 'country' city:)
DeleteBeautiful fences and doors.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
Flora if there are treasures to find, you will find them. A treasure attracts those who seek it. I love your photos, where are the tumbleweeds? lol Just kidding.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
oh i love the vibe flora....would you bike one for me?!?!
ReplyDeletesure will!
DeleteThank goodness we still have these older parts of cities and towns where people are making an effort to attract visitors and shoppers. So much more interesting than malls and shopping strips. The old wrought iron storefront gates are real architectural treasures.
