It was the Air Show....
Our park is about 1 mile from the Airport...
At the back of the park...along the canal...
The view is pretty good...
Some tried out the balcony seats...
The Ice Cream truck...braved the canal and was rewarded by the spectators who had been sitting for 3 hours.
for an Air Show...
just for fun...
But some of the things those planes do is pretty spectacular!
they really are something to see. i just hate to hear about the accidents that sometimes occur in these shows and tricky flight formations and vintage planes...

Well, as a retired private pilot, one of the things that makes it real interesting is taking a two seater plane solo up to 12,500 feet above sea level (the max that is allowed) and looking around. It makes you feel extremely small, and God infinitely big. :-}

ReplyDeleteMy husband would have loved to be there - we went to an Air Show many, many years ago.
You took some good photos of the day at the air show. Looks like it was a fun day. I usually go to the air show but I am always worried about accidents.
