.. Leaving for the Resolution Run....
(okay Clint..you asked for these pictures...)
Our granddaughter bids us goodbye |
Over 200 participants had registered.
The temperature was -8C, a pleasant evening.
We were the last in line at the start of the race.
Along the trail.. |
We had a snow packed trail for most of the 5 KM!
We had a wonderful run!
Then we went to our daughters New Year's Eve Party. We played Minute to Win It.
Here we are getting instructions to one of the challenges...
At times participants had a hard time hitting the mark!
Others hit the target quickly...
Others were just plain entertaining...
It was a great way to end the year and welcome in the new one!
Looks like a fantastic time!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys all had a wonderful time! I love playing games when we all get together.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great way to warm back up after the snowy race! good for you in doing the run!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely started 2012 in grand style. May the rest of the year hold more adventures for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun New Year's Eve. The 5k resolution run is a great idea, and even the weather cooperated.
ReplyDeleteFlora what a wonderful way to welcome in the New Year! The Resolution Run, was that in Edmonton? I had a friend run in a Resolution Run and it was 5kms, seems to me it's the same run.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
The party looks fabulous! The run looks cold...but I'm glad you had a good run!
ReplyDeleteI would have been dead after that run - how old are you - that is so awesome. And poles in the house - not here! sandie
