Friday again!! I'm Linking with A Rural Journal... for Randon 5 Friday...
1. So do you think of Friday as the end of the week....or the beginning of the Weekend?
2. This week...has been a busy 'social life' week....is it just me...or
do you have weeks that you never seem to get together with people...then
other weeks... it never stops?
3. I took my car in for an oil change this week... I had an appointment at 2:00 pm.... I'm usually waiting 40 minutes...Two and a half hours later.... they had finally finished....would of you been impatient? I'm getting better at taking it as it comes...
4. Driving the car home....by the time I got home the car was sputtering...something was wrong...
To make a long story short...they had washed the engine and got water in spots it shouldn't of been and the car needed new spark plugs and spark plug wires....
5. Went shopping and out for lunch with my sister this week....
We had a beautiful time. I even bought some beautiful clothes!

ReplyDeleteYes, some weeks I seem to be rushing from place to place with friends; other weeks, I welcome the solitude.
I hear you about the social life...some weeks absolutely none, then others more than enough Sure hope the oil change place didn't charge you for the new spark plugs and wires since it was their fault. Oh brother....sometimes I think, what's next?? Have a fun weekend.
ReplyDeleteI would have probably been a little miffed at the long wait for the oil change. But I am getting more patient the older I get, and I usually have a book with me. I really would have been upset at the spark plugs and wires. I hope they replaced them with no charge to you.
ReplyDeleteEgads, the car thing is frustrating. I hope they fixed it FREE. Your alligator picture is awesome, were you that close? I rarely leave home without yarn, so if I can get busy...waiting isn't as bad, still though it's your time. End of the wk vs start of wkend...I guess I do both?

ReplyDeleteI might be impatient waiting that long - unless I KNEW I would wait that long. Friday is the end of the week. And yes sometimes I am busy as a bee and at other times there is nothing going on. sandie

ReplyDeleteFriday morning ends the week and Friday afternoon I start thinking weekend. Although, on the Ranch, there is little difference between week and weekend. Cattle need fed and tended to everyday.
You are right about the social calendar thing. We will go weeks with no activities than have 3 things over one weekend.
I hope things work out with your car. At least you got to see you Sister, that can make up for the long wait.
That's one mean looking alligator! However, I scooted past him and enjoyed your flowers.
ReplyDeleteI Love your Random Friday! Except for the car problem! It does seem like life is all or nothing sometimes. It never seems to slow down lately.

Thought of that after sending you the email. When people click on your name, they do not go to this blog, they go to the blank page I sent you a screen print of. So, if that's not a blog and you delete it, perhaps they will be directed here?
