Do you remember when your parents celebrated milestone wedding anniversaries?
I remember mom and dad's 25th anniversary...
I was 11 and I thought they had been married forever!
I remember their 40th anniversary...they were SO old!!!
It's not a milestone year...
but it is 39 years for Hubby and Me...
I don't know what happened...
but I don't feel much older than I did 39 years ago.
So I'm thinking... mom and dad were actually young back then:)
Funny how our perspectives change!

ReplyDeleteI was listening to the song you linked to, what a beautiful song. I had to turn it off though after it was about half way through. That's all I've ever really wanted in life, to be that much in love and I have yet to find it... I haven't given up all hope yet though. Enjoy your day and keep loving one another, you just might see another 39 years. :-)

I came out of bad stuff after twenty nine years. My marriage to Ray is just seven years, and we will never break that.
