Happy Thanksgiving!

This weekend, we celebrate Thanksgiving.
How often do we really stop and think about things we are thankful for?
I find I get so busy, that my thoughts seem to be on what I am busy at,
and all the things that are not right in my life.

But....when I pause to think of all the good in my life....
It's amazing how my attitude can change !

We have no right to ask when sorrow comes,
"Why did this happen to me?"
unless we ask the same question
for every moment of happiness that comes our way.

  1. Flora I used to write in a gratitude journal every night. I would write down a minimum of 3 things I was grateful for in my day and they had to be different, it couldn't be the same thing every day. I got into the habit of living in gratitude, even when things aren't going so great I can find something to be grateful for and what a wonderful way to live. It's hard to be upset when you live with an attitude of gratitude!

Happy Thanksgiving, I like your photos.

  6. Happy Thanksgiving

Gratitude is often overlooked, but essential. I used to keep a gratitude journal like Darlin mentioned but gradually got out of the habit. I need to start it again.
