Was it T.S. Eliot who wrote something about leaving and coming back and seeing it as if for the first time? That restless soul... From your pictures it looks as though you have a retreat within your very midst!!! Enjoy your day.
That is soooo true. Love the flowers in the wagon.
Love all that purple!!!
oh, look at all those purples! love it!
Ha. Yup, we humanoids are a curious bunch...never satisfied!
gorgeous flowers + purple = perfect!!!!
ooooohhhhh & i could swing in that swing forever!!!
I love the pretty lavender colors! But I don't remember wishing I was home when I am traveling and having an adventure! heehee! I think I am party gypsy! ♥
so does that mean y'all made it home? i love that quote, may have to use it sometime!!!
True and why is that?
Welcome HOME!!! SO true! When we are in our gazebo with a glass of wine in hand we think of all the places we want to go and the things we want to do. Then we go and DO these things and think about our quiet evenings at home in our gazebo and wonder why we ever left there!!
Welcome home! I love the quote and your purple wagon, that's such a cool concept putting flowers in a wagon like you have... so pretty!
Yes -- whenever we'd go away (which was years ago!), two days in, I'd want to go home. Long vacations were never my favorite kind. Looks like your garden and flowers survived your absence. Lovely. :)
so true...great photos...
