We both fancied a good coffee in a cute little coffee shop along this road....and this is what we found...
Deserted little towns...it looked like everyone had up and left...
Once we looked at the coffee pot we decided on...
Finally we found something that was opened.... Gas prices had gone up $2.99 a gallon in Montana...pretty good. After Montana the price was over $3.00 a gallon...not too bad considering prices were rising...but this beat them all!
We came upon a mountain of lava rock...
NO! This is NOT snow...it is a bed of borax
We were now heading towards the Joshua Tree National Park...hopefully we'll catch you up on that tomorrow!
Are you sure you are going to be able to afford to come home with gas prices like that?;)

Well you know I don't keep alot of things...but they are cute...I think I have them stuffed away!! I could of pretended it was snow...so you felt better!

ReplyDeleteJoshua Tree is only about 70 miles from where we live, were some of those pictures taken on the highway running through Amboy, CA between I-40 and Twentynine Palms? just curious :)
